Close-Range DPS and Assassin

Darryl is a Super Rare brawler that specializes in close-range one-on-one fights. Although he is relatively close-range, his barrel roll super allows him to get close to enemies, making him an effective assassin, rather than a front line tank such as Bull or El Primo. He is a strong pick for close-range Showdown maps and Bounty, where he can pick off opponents quickly without dying.

Darryl

Close-Range DPS and Assassin

Health:

Darryl is a moderately low-health brawler, with only 5600 health. However, his auto-charging super and slightly enhanced movement speed make him great for quick attacks and escapes. If used correctly, you can kill opponents and escape without ever taking much damage.

Normal Attack:

Double Deuce - Darryl shoots two shotgun blasts in quick succession, dealing extremely heavy damage to the enemy. The shotgun has a very large spread, with more range than Bull but less than Shelly. Hence, it is neccessary to play extremely aggressive and try to use your abilities to get close to your opponents. Once you are in a point-blank fight, you will most likely win (unless you are against a Bull or Shelly with her super).

Super:

Barrel Roll - Darryl rolls in his barrel for a moderate distance, bouncing off walls and obstacles. This super is unique in the way that it charges automatically every 20 seconds. That means that Darryl can use it frequently to engage and disengage enemies at any time. If you hit your enemy, you can stun them, stopping their attack. This even stuns brawlers who are using their super, like when Frank charges up his super attack. Also, you can use the attack to stun opponents who are about to score the ball in Brawl Ball. You can hit your opponents multiple times, if you bounce off the wall towards them.

Charges every 20 seconds

Star Power:

Steel Hoops - While Darryl is using his super and for 3.5 seconds after he uses it, Darryl's damage taken decreases by 30%. This matches up well with his assassin playstyle and taking on aggressive one on one fights. After Darryl rolls in for the kill, he has an extreme advantage, with his shotgun blasts and protection. Use this to take out key brawlers in gem grab and escape sticky situations in all game modes.
